One Church – Two Campuses

Wake Forest Baptist Church, due to the generous gift of 16 acres of prime property at Highway 98 West and Wake Union Church Road, by Cecyl and Irene Stephenson, now celebrates a second campus which is enjoyed by many church and community groups to enhance the value of our community.  In 2007, over two million dollars was raised to make this campus stand out as one of the prime places to meet and enjoy recreation in Wake Forest. On the 12 acres, there is now situated an outdoor pavilion with stone fireplace, full kitchen, and bathroom facilities accompanied by picnic tables to seat a large gathering.  There is also an athletic field and regulation beach volleyball court with parking provided.

In May 2010, the groundbreaking ceremony took place and now the property is used by the Kerr YMCA for the soccer league, as well as countless churches and community groups who gather for picnics, reunions, parties, and gatherings.  We celebrate this opportunity to stretch our horizons and add to the value of our church and community.  Even now, a “vision” team is planning for future dreams for how this campus can be used for the glory of God’s Kingdom.

ALL Wednesday night activities are canceled for February 20 due to issues with sewer lines in the building.
