When I was diagnosed with cancer, my church family surrounded John & me with love and support. Prior to surgery, we formed a circle, and led by Les, we placed my life in God’s hands. All through the rough months of treatments, WFBC was there for us – with visits, cards, food, and most of all, prayer. I will never forget the prayer circle we formed in Bill Slater’s office on the day of my last chemo treatment. We prayed for the effectiveness of the treatments and for healing. WFBC is a loving and compassionate family that serves a loving, compassionate, and powerful God.
