Wake Forest Baptist Church received a generous and godly gift, over a decade ago, of 16 acres of prime property from W. Cecyl and Irene Stephenson. Since then we have been praying and discerning what God wants us to do as a result of this gift. In 2007, we entered into a building campaign that we call IMAGINE. This campaign has allowed us to renovate our existing facilities, as well as allow us to move forward with our plans for the Stephenson Campus.

In May of 2010, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for Phase 1 of our plans. This involved the construction of a picnic pavilion, multi-purpose athletic field, regulation beach volleyball court along with other amenities. In the future, Phase 2 will see the construction of a gymnasium and additional ministry facilities.

This second campus is a vital and exciting adventure of faith, for Wake Forest Baptist Church, that will allow us to live out our dream of connecting the community to Christ.
