Jesus Christ came into the world in the form of a baby, and the Bible tells us that he "grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men" (Luke 2:52). At Wake Forest Baptist Church, we do our best to help children grow the way that Jesus grew and to learn what it means to be his disciple.
We love our children at WFBC and are very thankful for the energy, passion, and creativity they contribute to our church family. We know that helping children love Jesus is one of the greatest responsibilities we have as a church, and we take our role very seriously. Through a variety of developmentally appropriate programs like missions, choir, and Bible study we make sure that kids are learning, growing, and have FUN at the same time.
We do everything we can to ensure that Wake Forest Baptist Church is a safe and loving environment for children, as well as a place where families can connect with God and one another. We welcome all children into our church family and commit to be the presence of Christ for them in this place.

Children's Retreat at Camp Willow Run
All children in third-sixth grades (2017-18) are invited to attend a retreat September 15-17 at Camp Willow Run on Lake Gaston in Littleton, N.C. While there, we’ll enjoy swimming, canoeing, crafts, games, and the low ropes course as well as small group Bible Studies and worship. This is going to be a fantastic weekend! At Wake Forest Baptist Church, we have several incredible programs and opportunities for children that are only available because of the support of our wonderful volunteers. Whether you want to serve in a short-term capacity by helping to plan for an event or work with children on a weekly basis, there’s a role for you! Children's Ministry Registration Form
In an effort to safeguard our children and make life easier on parents, we ask that you fill out the Children's Registration Form which is applicable to all of our children's ministries. Each family will only need to complete one form. You may complete the form here and email it back to Ms. Lisa at lisa.baker@wakeforestbaptistchurch.org or pick up a paper copy at the church.
