Discipleship Class – This program helps children understand what it means to be a Christian and a church member. It also offers a close look at the meaning of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. It is offered once or twice a year for four consecutive weeks. Time and date TBA. It meets in Room # 219 and is designed for children in Grades 4-6.

Preschool Sunday School Valentine’s Pot Luck Luncheon – This annual event offers a great time for families of preschool-aged children to fellowship together. It is usually held on the Sunday prior to Valentine’s Day in the Fellowship Hall. Families of our Preschool Sunday School children, as well as their teachers, leaders, and guests, are all invited to participate.

Seder Meal – This annual event gives children a taste (literally!) of what Passover is all about. It is held on Maundy Thursday each year in the Fellowship Hall for children in Grades 1-6.

Kids’ Camp – This is a week-end camping experience shared by several sister churches in the Raleigh area at a retreat center away from home. It is offered in mid to late September at Camp Oak Hill near Oxford, NC. It is designed for children in Grades 3-6.

Christmas Caroling – Each year during the Christmas season, our children go to local nursing homes and to homes of several shut-in members of our church family to carol and spread a bit of Christmas cheer. This event is designed for children in Grades 1-6, and always proves to be an enriching intergenerational activity.
