Dr. Jeanine Skinner

Dr. Jeanine Skinner is a teacher, performer, collaborative musician, and church musician. Her degrees from Anderson College, Furman University, Florida State University and the University of South Carolina are in Piano Performance with her final degree focused on Performance and Pedagogy. She has served on the faculties of Southern Wesleyan University (Central, SC), Presbyterian College (Clinton, SC), Lander University (Greenwood, SC), the State University of West Georgia (Carrollton, GA), Berry College (Rome, GA) and Judson College (Marion, AL).

Dr. Skinner has served as a church musician for more than 35 years. Growing up in Anderson, SC, she served as pianist for 8 years and organist for 5 years at Boulevard Baptist Church. She has served as organist and choir director in various Presbyterian, Methodist, Lutheran, and Episcopalian churches with her most recent service at Raleigh Moravian Church in Raleigh, NC.

Currently, Dr. Skinner serves as organist and accompanist for Wake Forest Baptist Church. In addition, Dr. Skinner owns a teaching academy in town where students may study all musical instruments at Music Academy South with professional teachers and performers. Jeanine lives in Wake Forest with her two fur-children, Isabelle and Allie.
