Youth Discipleship

SonUp:   SonUp is our weekly youth Sunday School.  SonUp is designed to be a time of Bible Study where youth learn the Scriptures and how they apply to their lives.  It begins with donuts and fellowship followed by Worship songs and prayer requests.  Afterward, we break into our three Sunday School classes by grade – 6th, 7th and 8th, 9th and 10th, and 11th and 12th.  SonUp meets Sunday mornings at 11:00 AM in the Youth Center.  Youth attend worship together at 9:30 AM.

SonDown:   SonDown is our weekly youth group meeting and worship service.  It is open to all youth in the 6th-12th Grade and is a time of both fellowship and worship.  SonDown meetings consist of a fellowship meal (provided by volunteers), group games, worship, youth testimonies, and a Bible-based lesson.  Middle School SonDown meets Sunday Nights at 5:15 PM in the Youth Center while High School SonShine meets (music & creative arts); High School SonDown meets Sunday Nights at 6:45 PM in the Youth Center while Middle School SonShine meets.

Ignite:   Ignite is our Wednesday Night small group ministry for our youth.  Each Wednesday night, after dinner, our youth will split into small groups to share in discussions about issues that they deal with as teens and learn how to apply scripture and faith to their daily lives.  Once a month, all of the Ignite groups join together for a community service project called Youth on Missions.  Our Ignite Groups are High School girls, High School guys, and Middle School.  Ignite and Youth on Missions meets every Wednesday night at 5:30 PM (for dinner) in the Fellowship Hall and before leaving for small groups in the Youth Center at 6:15 PM.
