Youth Retreats

Fall Retreat:  The Fall Retreat is our yearly Christian Retreat for the entire youth group.  It consists of fellowship activities as well as dynamic worship and prayer experiences.  It takes place at a different Christian campground around our area.  The Fall Retreat is a great way for new members of the youth group to meet new friends.

Disciple Now Weekend:  Disciple Now, or D-Now as the youth often call it, is a weekend spiritual retreat for the whole youth group.  It is led by college and seminary students and contains a mission project for our whole group.  During the Disciple Now Weekend, youth spend the night in homes of members of our congregation and lead worship for both services on Sunday Morning.

Middle School All-Nighter:  The Middle School All-Nighter is an all-night Christian Retreat for our 7th and 8th graders.  It includes fun side trips such as bowling, go-carts, or roller skating, as well as group games, worship, and devotions in the Fellowship Hall.  The Middle School All-Nighter is a great way for our middle school students to bond and share their faith with one another.

9th and 10th Grade Christian Rafting Retreat:  The 9th and 10th Grade Christian Rafting Retreat occurs each fall on the Ocoee River in Tennessee and includes rafting, cabin accommodations, and the youth’s choice between horseback riding, paintball, and other activities.  The Retreat also includes worship around the campfire as well as daily Bible-based devotions.

Junior/Senior Ski and Snowboard Retreat:  The Junior/Senior Ski and Snowboard Retreat occurs once a year in the mountains of Virgina on President’s Day weekend.  It typically alternates between WinterPlace and Massanutten.  The youth stay in a home near the ski resort where they share meals and participate in daily worship and devotions together.
